It is important for beginners to realize what they need to focus and aim for during their search for Forex knowledge. acquiring skills in trading will be much easier when we know what are important and which are not.
I found mine a little bit late, not until I was trading live did I came to realise what I had to aim for during lessons.
There were :
1. Entry
2. Exits
3. Stop Loss (Risk)
4. Take Profit
Determining your entry and exit may seem to be a simple task but it requires one to be a master of his strategy. Practice, practice, practice makes perfect. calculating risk is the utmost important, a trade position which gives a trader a risk to reward ratio of 1:3 will in the long run benefit his/her account balance.
At times traders may entered trading with great position ie Price. (lowest when buying and highest when selling) only to succumbed to a loss due to inability to mark a good Take profit point.
Or due to risking more than he is prepared to loose.
Discipline is and will be a major issue with traders, especially with beginners. trading position which are entered without discipline or neglecting his/her predetermine and proven trading strategy will affect the trader trading psychology if in that particular position the market went against him. which will unsettle the trader and eventually exiting the trade prematurely only to see the market to return to it's trend.
It has always been said, the only way to get things done is by doing it the right way. But if things are to be done the hard way, Make sure You get it in your TRADING PLAN.

I agree that the key to mastering the trading business is knowledge. You should understand how the system works before initiating any action. With this, you will be less prone to scams and will be able to develop your own strategies faster. This just proves that knowledge is power!
